Tim was born February 3rd 1958 in Frankfort Kentucky. He was the middle child of three boys. Older brother Mike, younger brother Steve.

Featuring an ever-popular horn section, the group effectively blends the sounds and music of yesterday and today. The band has performed throughout the nation in thousands of venues. Their diverse repertoire has made them overwhelming favorites with college audiences as well as the more mature rock and rollers.

Artist or in person, Jim Quick is the kind of guy you genuinely want to call a friend. With the charm only a true Southerner can possess, he brings his talent to the stage with a quick-witted, knee-slapping sense of humor coupled with the clear sincerity of his love for his craft.

The Catalinas began in 1957 in Myers Park High School in Charlotte, NC and celebrate their 65th Anniversary in 2022! The bands popularity is based primarily in southeastern US, however, The Catalinas music is played on radio stations in the UK, Greece and Australia to name a few.

Having been inducted into the South Carolina Rhythm and Blues Hall of Fame and the South Carolina Beach Music Hall of Fame, The Embers are honored to carry the moniker of North Carolina’s Official Ambassadors of Music.

North Tower has been one of the south’s great party bands for over 40 years, providing the best in Top 40, beach, funk and oldies. Sizzling brass, super vocals, and a wide ranging repertoire all contribute to making your event a night to remember!

The Band of Oz was formed in 1967 as a part-time band playing fraternity parties and high school proms all over the South.
